#39 - Taking another break (Again?)

Yeah I'm taking a break.. I can't connect with my faction mates. I feel like I'm non-existent at times. Maybe I need a month or two to regain my "sanity" in Granado Espada because I just spat nonsense on my mates. That previous two weeks of hiatus just isn't enough. And to that person whom I once again asked the same question, he probably got frustrated and never replied. I apologize for my action.

Bye readers. Seeya guys after a month, or two again.
(Anyone in the faction who needs the FL role, please inform me. And DLFs can edit anything they like, the Notice, or Faction Description etc.)

#38 - Really? Seriously?

Good morning y'all.

Before I start my huge rant, here are some screenshots of my highlights of the week (Or 2).

Firstly, the nicely chipped Dragon's Fury Rifle.

Photobucket
=)

Awesome eh? NO! That's actually the state it was last chipped. I gotten a couple of *facepalm* stats, namely 20% ASPD and 80%+ Undead and another 3AR with maxed Accuracy. The number of chips used has gone up to such a high number, that I don't even feel like counting anymore. What's the point? I tried using Enchantment Tranquilizers on it, but I get several yellow stats and crappy blue stats. The chipping process has drained my Vis from a high 100m to a measly 9m. Time to earn that Vis back and chip again? I don't know. I'm really, really tired. Please wish me luck, readers, because any further bad stats in this cursed rifle is gonna make me snap.

*breaks pencil into half*

Secondly and much more happier one.

Photobucket
The beautiful Castilla Temple.

I went for the first Relic raid with my faction after my hiatus. It was chaotic as usual, with all the monsters butt-raping us. In the end, I gotten the best loot from the roulette, which was an E96 Piernoente. This was already mentioned in my previous post. But I had something else to rant about.

We took well around an hour or so to finish Relic. All that hardwork and time placed into Relic to get crappy loots. I'm not referring to myself as I already have a good loot. I'm referring to my squad mates. Granado Espada's way of rewarding players after a raid which lasted for an hour is giving them e84 crap. *facepalms*

I know this issue was mentioned many, many times. But I can't just take it lying down. How's a regular player finishing the raid and getting these kind of loots gonna react? "Oh, bad loots again. Next time again then. *more potion keyboard mashing against a bunch of spear-poking fuckers and oversized king-kongs*" I had a chat with a faction mate earlier this afternoon. He said raids are mostly here for the fun. How's it fun anyway? Most of the time I went into Relic, I almost broke my keyboard into half with all the keyboard mashing and getting irritated with poking spearmen. I can relate with teamwork, since you have to resurrect downed families and constantly dealing with the poking spearmen to help other DPS families.

About the Tempest and many other bosses, why are all the bosses so huge? I had to zoom out to the maximum just to see Tempest's graphical cues of a Snow Storm or any other instant KO AOE. Hell, sometimes, you can't even see the cast bar of Snow Storm (I fucking hate this Tempest skill, it doesn't show an AoE range, it has an almost instant cast time and the graphical cues are to hard to see sometimes because the cue camouflages with Tempest's armor or you are too busy avoiding poking spearmen and knights).

Fighting Tempest isn't a challenge. It's a CHORE. Resurrect, buff up (Optional), fight, die, rinse and repeat. There is definitely satisfaction upon completing Relic. The faction beaten it with a 5 men squad previously, and with the additional me, 6. It's quite an accomplishment that most factions can't do. However, that satisfaction gets overshadowed with bad loots and bad memories. Period.

I was playing this other game. It was a dungeon raid that lasted for 1.5 hours. I was very tired, but I was very, very satisfied. I gotten a good loot plus money, experience and getting through tough obstacles. It was a very challenging raid nevertheless. People who claimed Relic to be challenging (How's Relic challenging anyway?), please think again. The raid I done in that game had lots of challenges, for instance..

"There was a boss who was able to instant KO the Tank. But there is a cast time for the KO skill, and you can prevent it by using a skill that stuns. Upon failing the stun, the Tank dies, loses all aggro, and the boss will recklessly attack any character who's aggro-ing it. Cleric has to be alive at all times. Melee/Ranged DPS-ers serve as bodyguards for the Cleric."

"The boss can cast a debuff on the Tank that allows the boss to convert all the damage dealt by the Tank into health. The Cleric, healing the Tank, has to watch out for the debuff on him and use a skill that dispels the debuff."

"DPS players have to keep their DoT (Damage over Time) skills up to effectively overrun the boss regeneration rate. DPS players also help to eliminate any monsters summoned by the boss so that the Cleric can focus on healing the Tank, and the Tank can focus on holding the boss aggro. A lot of teamwork is happening here."

"Every time a boss casts an AoE, all players within AoE range must escape immediately."

Any of that matches any of Granado Espada raids? I only know a few, namely Byron raids and Chateau de Bourgogne. Bounty Hunter missions and Castilla Mine/Relic are some of the most boring raids I have ever been to. Let's face it, Byron raids (The one with the mad Gluttony and the other with the NPC bosses) and Byron itself and Chateau de Bourgogne are the best and fun-est things in Granado Espada and it doesn't have huge fucking bosses like Dekaravia or Tempest. Who ever created Byron, and the future Byron updates, is awesome. The rest of the raids in Granado Espada are mediocre.

Sigh. I'm finished with my first rant. I typed everything that was bottled up in my heart. I feel good now. But I'm not finished.

~

Thirdly, Panfilo's Potluck. Or should I say, Poopluck.

What is IAH thinking? Releasing ANOTHER gambling web game to milk cash cows again. This time, the game is a hybrid of HCOF and ABS. You have to pay 1000 GP for every try, but here's the good thing, you won't get Tickets. Instead, you get previous ABS loots like Lollipops, Ores, Status Ampules etc, for a try that didn't succeed to get the good loot. Although it's a good alternative to spend GP compared to HCOF, it's STILL A MONEY BASED GAME. Rich people prevails once again. I was hoping for another free event of some sort, since there was a double EXP week event previously..

..you know what. FUCK THIS. BRING BACK ABS GODDAMMIT.

ABS was probably closed to allow PPL to come in. Geez! Due to this, I'm not gonna purchase any GP cards until there's some sort of buyer reward system or an appreciation event or feature to all cash users. I'm even not gonna purchase the Le Sagittaire Optimiste costume for Grace. I'm only gonna focus on 5 characters and that's all. 2 Musketeers, 1 Trooper, 1 Fighter and a Scout. That's it really. Customer satisfaction going downhill gradually..

Lastly.

I'm ready. EVER READY. FUCKING READY. READY ANY FUCKING TIME.

Photobucket
Somehow, the picture auto-cropped or something.

Just give me Dragon Nest already. I'm very tired of Granado Espada and I need good break away from this game.

JUST GIVE ME THE GAME ALREADY!

Lost post I know.

Glad you enjoyed.

#37 - Back.

Good afternoon y'all.

I'm back on Granado Espada, hopefully to get more lucky and more powerful than before. Well, the lucky part wasn't what I expected. The Dragon's Fury Rifle chipping record has risen to 420. The best stats it gotten so far was a 80%+ Undead racial and another which has 14 Crit, 3AR. I desperately need a rifle with the ATK and AR/Racial stats.. Can't the Enchantment Lady grant me that simple, simple wish? *sobs, still trying to stay optimistic*

Upon my return, I went for a Relic raid with my faction mates. The only best loot I gotten from the raid was an Elite Piernoente (e96). Everyone else gotten crap, which is the norm for most Granado Espada raids. Also in Occulta BH, I gotten a Elite La Ventisca (e92). Shouldn't those be taken out by now? Those e92 robes are as worthless as their recipes. Other BH missions and Castilla Mine raids, all crap loots. The Castilla Relic roulette table has to be revised, because for such a difficult raid, there has to be some DECENT RETURNS, like a package of Ancient Star Orb Boxes x5 or Shiny Crystals? Not e84 equipments..

I'll post more screenshots in the next post to get back my habit of picture blogging!

#36 - Missing Granado Espada already?

Good evening y'all.

After playing much MapleSEA and other bullcrap MMORPGs, I missed Granado Espada. Somehow. Just recently, I received news that the faction completed the Relic raid with just 5 people. That's such an awesome accomplishment, too bad I wasn't there.. Seems that good things never happened for me at times. Honestly, I'm jealous but nevertheless, awesome job, my faction (Since I'm the faction leader =3).

Despite missing Granado Espada, I still need a break away from the game. Just 1 precious month to keep up with all the newly released games. People told me that I can switch on my laptop and just leave GE on AFK-training. No way, I haven't bought a cooling pad for the laptop and there's no way I'm gonna overheat it. (I could put my graphics to low, but no.. I'm a very graphic-sensitive person. If I see my Alexa with low-polygon models, I'll freak out).

Aside from all that, I might change my hiatus end time.. To the release date of the Le Sagittaire Optimiste costume for Grace Bernelli in HCOF.

*I hope it won't be happening any time soon, lol*

Have fun playing Granado Espada!

#35 - A short hiatus.

Good evening y'all.

I'll be taking a break from Granado Espada for a month. I have to get away from the game for awhile. The damn game has gotten me pretty upset for the past few months. Well mainly the usual stuff.. My Dragon's Fury Rifle is on its 351st Chip and it still hasn't gotten good stats. Another few equipments are my Golden Fist, which is on its 157th Chip (I was chipping this behind everyone's backs lol) and a couple of e92 equipments, having used over 300 Chips. Lots of Vis, time and patience wasted. My patience has a limit.

I haven't played Granado Espada in a week. Because I broke my keyboard into half. It's dumb I know, but who the hell could endure having farmed countless amounts of chips and STILL not getting what he wanted. I couldn't.

Also, having spent over 600-700 SGD on this fucking game, I do not get anything from the game's Anniversary event. No freebies, no nothing. No thank yous please, I just want freebies. There's probably an in-game event of some sort, I'd still prefer a freebie event. Look at MapleSEA, they're having their 6th Anniversary event and I'll tell you, it's amazing, despite all the recent latency issues the server's having, it's still pretty fucking amazing. Look at Granado Espada, their anniversary event consists of players still having to pay 500 bucks for a plane ticket to some area, and then a package full of game-breaking items. Another pay to win event by IAH. And that's the ONLY event planned for their anniversary. Kinda pathetic don't you think? What about the kids and teenagers who are playing this game, supporting it with whatever leftover change they have from their pocket money?

I'm starting to love MapleSEA, but the lag and the amount of immature players kinda kills it. Wouldn't it be wonderful if both games' best features combined? Sigh.

That being said, I'll be on a hiatus away from Granado Espada for a month or so. I decided to not purchase GP anymore. If I can't even get anything in return from IAH, what's the point of buying more and more GP? I don't wanna be recognized as a cash cow.

I'll be playing MapleSEA mostly. The other games that are coming out soon, namely Rusty Hearts, DragonNestSEA and most E3 games, I'll be playing them.

Thanks for all the Granado Espada memories, but I rather control my spendthrift-ness away from this game. I'm still saving up for a Playstation 3.

#34 - Unlucky week.

Good evening.

I can't help but accept the fact that I'm a super, duper, fucking unlucky person (Or player). I just.. blew the 320th Chip into my Dragon's Fury Rifle and it's still clean. After that, I just freaking ragequited. You have no idea.. The anticipation.. The expectation.. That I have upon chipping this fucking piece of shit. There's literally no one to share my agony, even if I rage and rage on about my chipping woes, people would keep silent. That's how it is anyway. I only want people to say like, "Go John, you can do it" or "Don't worry, I'm pretty sure your time will come". A word or phrase of assurance/encouragement is way fucking better than silence, don't you think?

I also ragequited in MapleSEA. It's a little embarrassing, but I admit it anyway. I did play Maple, because the Big Bang patch got me excited. I played the game for a few days already, I kinda love it. That is until the new jobs released. The kids gotten WAY MORE immature. Fancy hogging a 4-spots map for all 20 channels. Frequently there are hackers who hog the popular maps on all 20 channels 24/7 (Probably a LAN shop or some fucking nerd who have like 100000000 computers). And then you have the infamous phrase, "CC PLZ" or whatever variations it has. Seeing that phrase after quitting MapleSEA for 4 years just pisses me off. It goes to show that MapleSEA players WILL NEVER LEARN THEIR FUCKING MISTAKES. After the new jobs patch, came the 4-5 days of FUCKING INTENSE LAG. Great fucking game huh.

~

Days after I became the new FL of my faction, 4 people left the faction. It is very heart-throbbing knowing that because of you being the new FL, people are just gonna leave the faction like that.

I don't know man. I'm growing rashes at my back of my head and it's killing me too. These two fucking games, GE and MapleSEA are driving me nuts.

I'm gonna take a break tomorrow..

End.

#33 - New change.

Good evening y'all.

Photobucket

Photobucket

A new change. For the blog, and in Granado Espada. First off, I'm getting the Faction Leader role of my nearly dead faction. You know what I hate about getting the Leader role of an already dying faction? Finding new blood to keep it alive, damn it sounds vampire-ish. Well yeah, that's pretty much the major disadvantage of it. To be honest, the former Faction Leader didn't really perform well as one. Most of the new members were brought in by a semi-active Deputy Faction Leader, which then more newer members brought in by the former new members. (Geez, I have no idea how to rephrase this, but you get the drift) After the former FL left the faction, I gotten quite suspicious. 3 members left straightaway. Either the 3 of them were close with the FL or whatever, I don't know. All I can describe of it is that, it's a DICK MOVE.

I can pledge my loyalty for this faction because I grown with it, had good moments with it and most importantly, made a lot of new friends with it. I'm not the kind who joins well-to-do or powerful factions, although it did crossed my mind a few times back, but eventually I chose not to leave my faction. I don't see factions as a tool to get more powerful but rather get more friends, nurture each other and help out. What's the point of being in a faction filled with powerful families? Shouldn't the great power be used to help others?

Currently, I'm still not the FL of my faction, but soon I will. The dummy FL (The person who got passed as the FL) is having frequent disconnections and couldn't login to pass it. I have been planning stuff for the faction, and hopefully everything turns out fine.

~

Ever since the new personal buff implementation and new upcoming personal buffs.. I have the sudden urge to train my Ania, Lisa and Brunie.

For Brunie's Fatal Blues, it doesn't seem to work for bosses.. Well it's only tested on Demonic Skull, the boss from Demonic Skullic Dungeon. So it's unconfirmed. Fatal Blues having a 150 second cooldown for a 20 second buff is pretty ridiculous, but somewhere in the future patch notes, the buff will get an increase of 90 seconds instead of the usual 20. Pretty nifty of IMC.

For Lisa's Grinding.. It's a godsend pretty much. -1DR and -11DEF for monsters at Lv. 11, pretty much self-explanatory. I'd take Lisa over Soho's lame shit heal anytime, unless Soho is teamed up with Romina.

For Ania.. Oh my God.. You have no idea how much love Ania's getting from IMC. First off, her Psychic self-buff from Gorgeous is already powerful. It's able to max the ASPD of any non-ASPD statted Tonfa. That's confirmed maxed DPS, checked. 30% more ATK, always welcomed. AND NOW, she's getting a personal skill called Beast, which is a watered down version of a Hrin's Potion, but hell, it's still pretty awesome. Too bad it's a SELF-BUFF. Ania's made to be kinda selfish, but who cares.. She's awesome!

So, Ania, Lisa and Brunie will soon be added to my Big 9.. or rather.. Big 12.

On the side note, the blog's layout is changed. I would like to have feedback on whether reading the blog strains the eyes or anything relevant. Do post on the comment section below. Thanks!
